The thoughts were then entered in a text file, as well as their negative version. The old school open source <a title=\"espeak\" href=\"http:\/\/espeak.sourceforge.net\/\">espeak<\/a> speech synthesizer and a short shell program completed the set-up. The computer robotically read the sentences aloud in random order while displaying the text on the screen in a green font on black bakground retro fashion.
