Harissa 1990-1992 Harissa The Harissa performance was first shown as part of my degree presentation in Marseille. I was singing a simple song about Harissa, a hot chili and garlic sauce from Maghreb. I was also introducing Fetish soap guns, magnetised by a local marabout. At the end of the performance I attempted to sell tubes of harissa, videos and soap guns. I got a 2.1 and sold a few guns. I showed a translated and improved version of Harissa in the Sheffield media show, Sheffield, UK, in 1992.
