The heart and the chip
A performance lecture beginning with a reflection on our savant button pusher attitude: we use on a daily basis numerous technological devices, pressing buttons for a desired effect with little knowledege of what takes place between the button and the effect.
The introduction leads to a fire making demo, presented as the mother of all technologies.
Next I present the Sexed robots and research on sexed machines, followed by a demonstration of Robotic perception with a modied Female sexed robot.
The performance ends with a song about romantic love,. accompanied by the Heartbeat machine.
A video documentation of the performance, shot in Berlin in April 2006, is included on issue 3 of the Liveartwork DVD publication.
