Z lab presents 1999-2002 Set-up The beige machine on the diagram is a BBC micro, mastermind of the show. It controls Toutou the robot dog, RobotHead, three lights (for Toutou) and a video switcher. The BBC Micro also provided some of the audio, such as the music for the cover of We are the robots. The computer graphics were generated by a Mac powerbook 170, filmed by a video camera. The video switcher alternated the display between the Powerbook and the camera pointed on Toutou.
