Part of my commission for the Is Technology Eating my Brain? exhibition was to work with a group of participants. As we gradually got to know each other, some of them started to work on the Big E-Waste Tech Head, an agglomeration of bits and bobs taken from our stock of discarded devices. I gradually nudged them into activating functional parts such as motors and displays. I contributed with a set of two automated digital cameras, mounted on servo motors. The cameras move and take pictures at random intervals.
