The young climate protesters that followed in Greta Thunberg‘s steps invited grown-ups to join in a world-wide day of protest against climate emergency apathy. The Cardiff lot met at 10am in front of the castle, moving on towards the museum for a mass alarm ringing at 1pm, then off the the Senedd (Welsh Assembly Government headquarters). About 2000 people took part under a glorious sunshine. The question is: what is goign to happen next? Will politicians rise to the challenge? Can they do anything real about slowing down global warming? Watch this space…
